October 22 and 23, Eurojuris Norway will once again gather at Hotel Bristol in Oslo for this year’s Autumn Conference.
 

This year’s conference is a great example of what makes the Eurojuris partnership so valuable. Its strength lies not only in the network’s local presence and nationwide reach, but also in how strong, independent law firms use the network to share experiences, develop expertise, and build strong professional relationships across firms, both nationally and internationally.
 

During the leadership seminar, Sverre Tyrhaug of Thommessen and Simon Stenlund of Legora will share their perspectives on how artificial intelligence is influencing recruitment, competency requirements, and the business models of law firms.
 

At the main conference, attendees will hear from speakers including Louis Weston of Outer Temple Chambers in London, Marte Eidsand Kjørven of the University of Oslo (UiO), and Vebjørn Søndersrød of Føyen Law Firm. Topics will range from witness and party examinations to BankID, digital identity, and the practical use of AI in legal practice from a legal ethics perspective.
 

Running in parallel, the national branch of Jurismus International, the Eurojuris network for young lawyers, will also convene. Through national and international gatherings, Jurismus provides a platform for professional development, knowledge sharing, and relationship-building across member firms for the next generation of legal professionals. This year’s program includes contributions from former alpine skier and world champion Tom Stiansen, together with Marius Hvitmyhr and Morten Vigen Kolek of Svensson Nøkleby Law Firm.
 

The Autumn Conference also includes meetings of Eurojuris’ specialist practice groups, where lawyers from member firms come together to exchange knowledge and experience within key areas of law, including employment law, corporate and tax law, bankruptcy and insolvency, real estate, construction law, and private client law.
